Campaigns/Consultations

Alloa Community Council started in March 2013. In that time we have organised a Jubilee Ball and a Fun-day. The council as well individual members have also contributed to a number of consultation processes. At the March meeting Alloa Community Council questioned a member of the Roads Department and the discussion ranged from Alloa Park, the Town Centre and to Claremont.

Former Campaigns

Claremont - Speed Table (Road Humps)

The Council has started a consultation about speed humps on Claremont, around the new Housing Development.  In the past people have objected to road humps elsewhere in Alloa.  Comments can be sent to the council, what are folks views?  Please use the Contact or Guest book pages to send us comments see link to consultation

Save Alloa Post Office

There are plans to close Alloa Post Office and move it to a local shop.  There is a paper petition to campaign against this, although the Post Office itself can not hold this.  I know I went to sign at the Post Office, but many local business have a copy.
